JetBroadband Email Communication

February 26, 2008

Dear JetBroadband High-Speed Internet Customer:

This notice is from the JetBroadband Internet Security Department. We have identified a number of unsolicited emails in recent days across our JetBroadband network. These emails have been written as if they were sent from JetBroadband and ask for a significant amount of personal account information, such as, your JetBroadband ID, password, gender, and zip code. There may also be an embedded link within the email and also a warning compelling you to respond to this request or your JetBroadband account will be terminated.

These emails can be identified as being from "Customer Service" with a variety of actual emails such as (services258@live.com or services258@hotmail.com or customerservices253@gmail.com).  These emails DID NOT come from JetBroadband and are SPAM and should be deleted immediately. Should you have any questions or concerns about this notice or any suspicious unsolicited emails, please email us at cs@jetbroadband.com or call our Technical Support department at 1-866-668-0171 to learn how to modify your SPAM settings.

As a general rule you should treat any emails you receive where personal information is being asked of you as suspicious.  Here at JetBroadband we take Internet security very seriously and will do all that we can to ensure our customers have a safe and enjoyable experience using JetBroadband high-speed internet service.  Additionally, we will use our web site (www.jetbroadband.com) to post any notice of any planned emails that we send to our customers, helping you validate the authenticity of our email communications to you.

Thank you for being a JetBroadband Customer
