Services

JetBroadband is a local cable operator founded in 2005 with the goal of providing valuable services, progressive technology, and advanced products with outstanding customer service to back it! Located in Virginia and West Virginia, JetBroadband currently serves 50,000 homes.

Today, JetBroadband offers a wide range of advanced services, including video, high-speed internet, High Definition TV, DVRs, and soon Digital Phone.  We offer these services individually or in a bundle, to provide our customers with tremendous value for their entertainment needs. We have something for every type of interest.

JetBroadband’s video service offers an extensive selection of television programming. Our Customers can choose from Expanded Basic or Digital Cable Packages, which include high-definition (HDTV) channels. JetBroadband also has DVRs to enhance your TV viewing experience, allowing our Customers to watch TV on their schedule.

JetBroadband’s High Speed Data access is available in speeds of up to 5 Megs in some areas. What does that mean to our customers? Lightening fast downloads of music, software, and pictures! And it’s always on, surf the World Wide Web without tying up your phone line or having to log on!

Providing excellent value is our goal, bundling video and data allows our customer’s value pricing. As well as receiving additional savings, JetBroadband customers enjoy the ease of dealing with one provider, one bill.

JetBroadband Business Solutions offers business organizations with tailored and cost-efficient broadband communications solutions; such as flexible high speed Internet packages that give small or big businesses a range of options to select the speeds that are right for your business needs. Customer Care

Here at JetBroadband we are constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience. As part of this initiative, we have extended our office hours to include Saturdays, begun offering PPV and Premium Channel upgrades online and providing more up to date information on our hotline.

Our Customer Service Representatives provide support on the phone and on the web. Our commitment to customer service doesn’t just end with our Customer Service Representatives, it extends to our technicians and installers out in the field as well.

Your LOCAL Company

JetBroadband takes pride in being your local Cable and Internet provider. We hire local people from the Communities we serve. JetBroadband is also actively involved in giving back to our Communities! We sponsor local little league and soccer teams, local charities, and support local events such as the Appomattox Railroad festival and Dogwood Days in Mullens, West Virginia. We are proud to assist local programming such as Alive TV in Lynchburg, Virginia and Local Cable 12 in Redwood, Virginia by providing them with additional resources and distribution across our footprint.

Going Green

Our colors might be red and gray, but JetBroadband is going green! In an effort to cut our carbon footprint, JetBroadband is looking for ways to help our planet. We have invested in Hybrid Vehicles and have recently put together a “Go Green Task Force”. Recycling, conserving, and being healthy are all just part of our mission. Management Team

David M. Baum, founder and Chief Executive Officer and President of JetBroadband, with over 25 years in the cable industry, is widely acknowledged as one of the leading supporters of cable advancement. Mr. Baum is currently a member of the American Cable Association board.  Mr. Baum states, “At JetBroadband, our goal is to exceed Customer expectations. Dan Nofs co-founded JetBroadband and acts as Senior Vice President of Engineering. With 30 years experience in Telecommunications, he is acknowledged as a technology leader in Broadband communications. He is also an active participant on Engineering Standards committees with the SCTE and IEEE.

George Psyllos is the Senior Vice President of Finance for the company. Mr. Psyllos has extensive experience in the Capital and Finance markets. Mr. Psyllos is fully responsible for financial, accounting, and capital matters for JetBroadband.

John Brinker, Vice President of Operations and General Manager of JetBroadband’s south central Virginia cluster, has been involved in many fields within the cable industry. Mr. Brinker was recently voted on the Virginia Cable Television Association (VCTA) board and proudly accepted the VCTA Technology Achievement Award for overseeing the Fiber-Optic upgrade of JetBroadband’s Cable Systems serving Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, and Nottoway counties.

Anthony W. Barlage is our West Virginia General Manager and responsible for the day to day operations of serving 11,000 customers. Mr. Barlage has been managing cable systems for over 20 years and is a Board member of the West Virginia Cable Television Association. Most recently, Mr. Barlage held the role of Vice President of Public Affairs for Charter Communications West Virginia systems.
